It’s not every day that a rock legend and his coveted designer daughter take over the New York City Ballet. At the 2012 Fall Gala and premiere of Paul McCartney’s Ocean Kingdom, the ballet rocked New York like never before. With guests like Jon Bon Jovi, Paul Simon and a stunning group of gals like Liv Tyler, Naomi Watts and Sarah Jessica Parker (all in stunning pieces from Stella McCartney’s upcoming Spring 2012 collection of course) it was an affair like no other. The father/daughter duo were joined by brother James and of course Paul’s fiancee Nancy Shevell Ralph Lauren and family (including the newly married Dylan Lauren) mingled with rumored mayoral candidate Alec Baldwin and Boardwalk Empire’s Steve Buscemi over a beautiful dinner and an endless supply of champagne.

Ocean Kingdom, the latest production from the acclaimed dance company features a score composed by the king of rock music himself while dancers pirouette their ways across the stage in head to toe designs by Stella McCartney. There are only two more performances this month, however it will return to the stage for a limited engagement in January. Go to the website now to get your tickets!
