The Art Director’s Club proved that it could compete with the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund dinner by luring big time names to the RxArt’s 10th anniversary celebration hosted by James Franco, Terry Richardson and Rob Pruitt. RxArt Founder Diane Brown enlisted art (and reality TV) star Simon de Pury to not only DJ (!) but also auction off works by artists like Yoshitomo Nara, Dan Colen and Nate Lowman.

Founded in 2000 by Brown, RxArt is a non-profit organization “dedicated to placing original fine art in patient, procedure and examination rooms of healthcare facilities.”

The crowd was a chic mix of fashion and art world stars. Richardson chummed around with fellow button-pushing photographer Ryan McGinley and guests like Leigh Lezark, Scott Caan, Arden Wohl, Kristian Laliberte, Cynthia Rowley, writer Yale Breslin, Bill Powers, Sky Ferreira, Aaron Young, Opening Ceremony’s Humberto Leon, model Heather Marks, Jen Brill, Charlotte Ronson, Genevieve Jones and the Schnabel filles Stella and Lola danced to tunes by artist/DJs Nate Lowman and Leo Fitzpatrick. Time to start those DJ classes, kids!
