“A Red, White and Blue Celebration”, organized by Trumpettes Founder and President Toni Holt Kramer, will be hosted Jan. 18 at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach to celebrate Donald J. Trump’s first anniversary as President of the U.S. Trump returns to the private club that doubles as his Winter White House today.

“How could we vote for anyone else when we have this man?” Kramer continues to ask skeptics on both sides of the aisle.

Kramer, a former TV personality, felt the President had to cope with a great deal of adversity during his first year when he accomplished very little. So she wants to honor him by hosting a big party at Mar-a-Lago.

“I was hearing negative nonsense about charity organizations leaving Mar-a-Lago and saying unkind things about him,” Kramer tells AVENUE, which reported that very story. “It made me sad because I know how hard the President is working. I took it personally as a slap at me because we did so much to support him.” Ouch!

The Trumpettes, a grassroots organization of wealthy socialites, Mar-a-Lago Club members, and others who supported Trump, worked hard during the campaign season to get him elected.

They did dozens of broadcast and print interviews around the world, and went out in their communities to talk to women about a candidate whose main base of supporters, many detractors think, are backward-thinking men who fly around the country telling women to stay home.

When President Trump made controversial comments after the white supremacist/Neo-Nazi rallies in Charlottesville, Virginia, last summer, major Palm Beach charities fled Mar-a-Lago for other local venues. So Kramer, undaunted by his comments, decided to take action and create her own pro-Trump gala.

She said the venue has sold out at 700 tickets for $300.00 each. The low price was designed to appeal to the pocketbooks of Trump’s base of “working people,” who may raise hell when they realize that the current Republican tax “reform” plan will cut corporate taxes but not really help them. But first, they can raise the roof at Mar-a-Lago.

“We asked to add another Mar-a-Lago ballroom to accommodate our ticket holders, so we will be celebrating in two,” says Kramer. “We have people coming from all over the U.S. and England, Australia, even from leftist governments!  It’s very exciting to be hosting a ‘party for the people’.”

The gala will feature keynote speaker Judge Jeanine Pirro of Fox TV fame, who is being sponsored by Trumpettes Tova Leidesdorf and Ari Rifkin. There will be two bands, cocktails, dinner, dancing, and other speakers, too.

“President Trump will be there in spirit,” says Kramer, who may wish she had charged more for tickets if he does show up. “I am doing this to celebrate and show the President we are standing strong, and are so grateful to him.”

Once this event is over, the Trumpettes, which now includes “thousands of people, both men and women”, plus mascot Caviar Deux, Kramer’s black standard poodle puppy, who Kramer claims watches President Trump stump on TV, will begin to focus on 2020.

“We will start working on the President’s re-election once our gala is over,” says Kramer. “It is never too early to start.”
