Set sail on a two-hour burlesque adventure

Tuesday, July 22, 2014

Nothing beats a sweet summer night throwing inhibitions to the wind, with old-fashioned class of course. Summer Nights Burlesque Sail is back every second Thursday of the month through September.

Set sail around the Hudson and New York Harbor on a classic Civil War-era schooner in an adventure of seductive espionage. As you enjoy breathtaking views of Manhattan, Brooklyn, New Jersey and Lady Liberty, a scintillating burlesque and variety show will unfold before your eyes.

On July 10, AVENUE insider was invited to climb aboard the Clipper City Tall Ship for Sailors & Sirens. After boarding at Battery Park guests enjoyed performance sets by some of NYC’s most talented burlesque performers, courtesy of Dances of Vice. These performers included Donny V, Medianoche, Rosie Cheeks, Cassandra Rosebeetle and DJ Va Va Voon.

If you missed this adventure don’t get blue, because there’s another one waiting for you. Get your tickets now for the August 14th or September 11th adventures! Or you’ll be sad you missed it, again.
