SET seriously has the strictest velvet ropes in Miami. How do you break through the toughest disco door in South Beach? Host a party there, like I did last weekend. The scene is loud and wild and more St. Tropez than even St. Tropez (think sparklers, girls dancing on banquettes, lots of Rolexes).

In the packed crowd: Richie Rich (in town to do a fashion show), Vanessa Menkes (the VP of communications at Opium Group which basically rules Miami nightlife), Brian Long, Stacy and Eric Millon (who own Opium Group so become their BFFs ASAP), reality TV star/designer Ariel Stein, It Girl Erin Newberg and Todd Corder. Wear your smoking jacket. Ciggies are allowed at all clubs in Miami (and Florida for that matter) so whatever you wear will smell like eau de Parliment Lights the next morning. But hey – it’s worth it.
