Sighted: Anderson Cooper and Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin

Wednesday, May 20, 2015

Sighted: CNN Correspondent Anderson Cooper bonded with his cousin Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin at the SKIP’s Ruby Slipper Awards on May 7. The two looked very close as they talked about the singer’s upcoming jewelry line for HSN, coming out this fall.

The two Vanderbilt descendants came out to the event to support SKIP ( Sick Kids [Need] Involved People) of New York, a non-profit organization that helps New York’s most chronically ill and developmentally disabled children and young adults access the services they need to live at home instead of in hospitals and institutions.

Cooper presented the award for outstanding service to children with special needs, which went to CBS News’ Bob Schieffer and his wife, education advocate Pat Schieffer.

Other guests included Don Imus, Deirdre Imus, Nancy Swiezy and Caroline Camougis.
