Sunday’s Pride March was bigger, better and brighter than ever before, as thousands took to the streets to celebrate Friday’s supreme court ruling.

The joyous occasion saw revelers in every color of the rainbow come together for one of the largest Pride gatherings in history, with several carrying posters declaring, ‘love wins’.

Grand Marshals Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Derek Jacobi led the crowd with their multi-colored sashes and giant flags. J. Christopher Neal and Ugandan activist, Kasha Jaqueline Nabagesera also marshaled the event. Actor Tituss Burgess made an appearance to sing the national anthem.

Mayor Bill de Blasio and his family came along to the two-mile march to show their support, with the mayor sporting a rainbow-colored tie. Govenor Andrew Cuomo and Senator Chuck Schumer also joined in the celebration.
