Sony Pictures presents Land Ho! premiere

Monday, July 7, 2014

Yesterday afternoon Sony Pictures Classic presented the premiere of Land Ho! in its screening room. Two influential voices in American independent filmmaking, Aaron Katz and Martha Stephens, blended their talents in this Tribeca Film Festival hit.

A travel story of two ex-brother-in-laws who are vacationing in Iceland after being forced into retirement. The two find comfort and joy in each other’s company. This film will have you seriously considering traveling with your off-the-rocker uncle who loves to go out with you and your friends.

Many have said the film puts a comedic spin on a rather serious subject. The main characters are played by Australian actor Paul Eenhoorn and Earl Lynn Nelson.

Many prominent figures in the media industry showed their support at the premiere. These included author and former New York Times writer Gay Talese and his wife Nan Talese, film critic Kurt Loder, and Bill Cowher.
