We all know that heat rises, and that was certainly the case last night, as guests from the worlds of art and fashion collided at the Top of the Standard to celebrate the launch of this years StandART video series. Curated by Creative Time, a nonprofit arts organization here in New York, this public art initiative showcases video installations from International contemporary artists on all the televisions at The Standard’s in NYC, Miami, Downtown LA and Hollywood. Contributors this year included Kalup Linzy who provided entertainment in the form of a scantily-clad musical performance, and Gaga-buddy Terrence Koh who’s film “Rabbit Hole Days” was filmed exclusively on the 18th floor of the hotel.
Guests such as Kyle de Woody, Kristian Laliberte and Avenue’s own Peter Davis enjoyed Boom Boom’s tasty cocktails as they perused the visionary work of the seven eclectic artists showcased.

What’s the Point?
