Style Icon Jacqueline de Ribes to Exhibit at The Met

Starting November 19, 2015, is Jacqueline de Ribes: The Art of Style at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It will be viewable through February 21, 2016.

This exhibition is part of the Costume Institute's Fall 2015 exhibit. Jacqueline's elegance and originality, which established her iconic fashion persona in the 20th century, is an internationally renowned fashion celebrity.

Her exhibition will feature approximately 60 ensembles. Most of which are from Jacqueline's personal collections. The ensembles will run the gamut from haute couture to ready-to-wear.

The exhibit will include her unique creation of fancy ball dresses which she usually made from cutting up her haute couture gowns.

Some of the designer who will be featured in the exhibit along with Jacqueline are Giorgio Armani, Pierre Balmain, Bill Blass, Roberto Cavalli, Yves Saint Laurent and Valentino Garavani.
