Today Avenue Insider attended  Sydney Evan’s “Get Charmed” Holiday Press Preview, which took place at the  Carlton Hotel. This relatively young brand, established by Rosanne Karmes in 2001, is considered to be one of leading, trend-setting brands of its kind. The collections primarily celebrate luck, spiritual protection, uniqueness of our lives as well as good fortune and are highly reflective of Karmes personality. The pieces we got to see varied from extravagant and big, to small and delicate all with a hint of vintage charm.  The benefiting factor is that majority of  jewels can be easily mixed and matched as well as customized depending on choice. Some of the pieces have a beautiful variation of colored-diamonds and different textures, as well as geometrical shapes. What also caught our eyes, was the Sydney Evan “Shy” collection as well as the “Pure” collection which was launched last year followed by “Pure Mini” which is coming to stores this year and consists of the same gold designs in smaller versions. Another iconic collection designed by this brand is the “Word” collection which was launched in 2008 and became a huge boom among many jewels lovers and celebrities.
