Fashion Week continues in Milan, the glamor capital of the world. Kicking off a sure to be exhausting week at the tents on Friday, models, designers, and the effortlessly fabulous gathered at La Permanente for the 2011 amfAR Milano Gala and 25th Anniversary celebration, presented by Moet Hennessy and Vanity Fair. La Lohan (yes, Lindsay) made yet another appearance, turning heads in a black halter gown and looking shockingly like a befreckled Marilyn Monroe while cozying up to designer Philipp Plein (for whom she recently shot an upcoming advertising campaign) as well as Canadian design duo Dean and Dan Caten of DSquared. Luckily for all those in attendance, this was a blood-free evening for all.

It was a sartorial sensation of an evening as models Karlie Kloss, Chanel Iman, Natasha Poly and many more were strewn about the event donning designs from some of Italy’s most prominent designers and towering over those not blessed with mile-long gams. With performances by crooners John Legend and Rufus Wainwright and presentations by Margherita Missoni and Kenneth Cole, guests like Project Runway‘s Nina Garcia and Heidi Klum-who also joined model/Leonardo Dicaprio ex, Bar Rafaeli on the hosting committee- had more than enough to entertain them over champagne and cocktails and the stunning Italian meal. All in a days work for the fashionable and fabulous.
