Technicolor dream dress

Wednesday, June 29, 2011

Christopher Kane is not one to hold back. His previous collections have included cosmic textiles and neon grandma cardigans, and without fail, leave me jumping for joy and begging for more. Well, Mr. Kane has done it again, at no surprise to most, with a Resort 2012 collection filled with prismatic, technicolor fabrics paired with his signature elegant tailoring. From Mod-like shift dresses to pop-of-color trousers, this whole collection is oozing with It-Girl wearability. I wish I could go John Malkovich on this designer, and get inside that head of his to see what he’ll come up with next. But as I don’t think I’ll be finding any hidden portals into his sub-conscious, I guess I’ll have to be patient like the rest of you and wait til next season.
