Terry Richardson and Chloe Sevigny for Candy magazine

Photographer Terry Richardson has catapulted his basic East Village look (plaid shirts, nerd frames) to a iconic style uniform, making himself more and more recognizable, like the Andy Warhol of the fashion/celebrity photography world. Haven’t you seen the dozens of stencil Richardson portraits spray painted all over the city?

Richardson loves to dress up his famous subjects as – who else – Terry Richardson and have them do his signature thumbs up sign… and of course snap lots of pics.

Recently for Candy magazine, Richardson had actress/clothing designer/East Village staple Chloe Sevigny dress up as him (replete with wig and faux mustache) and he snapped photos.

Art or major egomania moment? You decide. And for more Terry, his show “Mom and Dad” opens today at the Half Gallery.
