The Art of Di Lusso Mobile Pop-Up

Friday, September 25, 2015

Who knew salami could be so artsy? Yes, that’s right—salami—the cold cut usually found in sandwiches, wraps, and hors d’oeuvres, is much more than your average lunch meat, it’s part of a lifestyle, at least according to premium salami brand, DI LUSSO.

Bringing food and art together, the brand has just launched a mobile pop-up art exhibition called, “The Art of DI LUSSO” which will travel to a number of cities throughout this month and next. On Saturday, October 3, they’ll be holding an event near Madison Square Park, featuring a collection of original works by renowned local artists in the New York area. Of course, there will be food, and a number of special events including a live art sesh with Cey Adams, former creative director of Def Jam Records.

In addition, guests will be welcome to paint on a giant community canvas on site. DI LUSSO believes that all children deserve access to the arts and will be donating $30,000 to benefit the Young Audiences New York non-profit organization.
