On Thursday night, November 1st, Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, HFZ, Westbrook Partners and AVENUE took over the sales center and a model apartment on the 9th Floor of the newly renovated landmark condominium, The Belnord, to celebrate the publication of The Belnord, a short book about the building penned by the magazine’s editor, Michael Gross.  As videos by Lisa Immordino Vreeland played featuring developer Ziel Feldman, architects Robert A.M. Stern and Paul Whalen and the landscape architect Edward Hollander, guests including Millbrook’s Karen Klopp and Pamela Taylor Yates, Manhattan’s Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, Nncvy Pierson, Robert Winthrop Kean III, and Elyn and Mark Frieser, AVENUE writers Ben Widdicombe, R. Couri Hay and Beth Landman, and Tuxedo Park’s Barbara and Peter Regna, nibbled treats by Sydney’s “Taylor” Made, guzzled Champagne by VieVite as DJ Super Dave of Allen Dalton Entertainment spun tunes, and wandered through the impeccably renovated rooms.  Gross spoke briefly about the full-block Beaux Arts building, first opened in 1908, and its storied history, but really, it could and did speak for itself.
