The Buoniconti Fund Hosts 30th Annual Sports Legends Dinner

At the Waldorf Astoria Tuesday night sports legends, celebrities, philanthropic icons and corporate leaders gathered to show their support of the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis. It was the 30th annual Great Sports Legends Dinner hosted by NFL Hall of Famer Nick Buoniconti and his son Marc. NBC news icon Tom Brokaw served as Master of Ceremonies and there were live performances by The Beach Boys and The Pointer Sisters. Mark Dalton was the event chairman.

The Buoniconti Fund is devoted to raising money to continue supporting the groundbreaking spinal cord injury research being conducted at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis which is based at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. The lineup of legendary all-stars who attended the dinner to show their support included Jorge Posada, Karl Malone, Ray Lewis, John Stockton, Michelle Kwan, Victor Espinoza, Jennifer Capriati and Chip Ganassi.
