Today, Macy’s revealed the details of its collaboration with fashion force Karl Lagerfeld. And AVENUEinsider cannot contain our excitement.

To the delight of every fashion forward gal on a budget (and really, who wouldn’t like to save a few hundred–nay, thousand–bucks!?) the capsule collection is set to launch in Macy’s “Impulse” departments this fall.

The collection is of course reminiscent of the legend’s signature style: sophisticated with a modern twist. It will feature collectible T-shirts, chic leggings, refined dresses and airy tops made of rich fabrics and modern tweeds. You can also expect to see  his signature high-collared necks. The color palette contains soft and shocking pinks, greys and blacks.

We are DYING. We also suggest marking your calendar since this coveted collection will only be sold in about 235 Macy’s stores nationwide and on macys.com starting August 31, and we venture to say it will sell out fast.

Why Macy’s? “To me Macy’s is the perfect department store in the US where everybody can find what they’re looking for without ruining their budget,” said Lagerfeld.
