The launch of eloquii by the Limited

Wednesday, November 2, 2011

The Limited is on quite a roll this season. First, the mass-retailer collaborated with designerRanjana Khan to make cheap jewelry chic. A mere days later, they unveiled eloquii by The Limited—a full figured line that celebrates a woman’s sense of style—to a select group of editors at The Cooper Square Hotel.

“Women with curves are going to to ‘Rejoice in the Double-Takes’ they will be getting from friends and acquaintances as they learn a whole new fashion vocabulary with eloquii by The Limited,” says The Limited CEO Linda Heasley.

The Limited not only launched a new collection, but a new manner of communicating their message through their collaboration with premiere fashion blogger GabiFresh, who co-hosted the evening’s event. Gabi is the number one plus-size blogger in New York, and will serve as the voice of eloquii, bringing her knowledge of her plus-size audience.  A “Shape My Style” tab has also been incorporated into the eloquii website, affording women the opportunity to assemble pieces based on their own body types as well as suggesting options that best compliment them.

From concept to completion, the collection was created with a singular focus – to celebrate women of all shapes and sizes—and eloquii by The Limited has accomplished exactly that.  It can be purchased exclusively on-line at www.eloquii.com.
