Aside from the much anticipated announcement of (gasp) one more season of the beloved Arrested Development series, last nights New Yorker Festival Party attracted a host of Manhattan’s greatest minds and personalities to fete the end of the annual meeting of the minds. On throughout this past weekend, the New Yorker Festival gives readers and contributors a chance to interact with a cue of great events from book signings to guest panels. Arrested Development cast members Michael Cera, Portia de Rossi and David Cross were joined by the likes of Glee star Chris Colfer, authors like Zadie Smith and Joyce Carol Oates as well as Padma Lakshi, Amber Tamblyn The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti and Parks and Recreation’s Aziz Asnari. You can check out a feed of the weekends festivities at The New Yorker’s page.
