The Turtle Conservancy held its fourth annual Turtle Ball at the Bowery Hotel last night in partnership with the Global Wildlife Conservation. Honoring Mark Ruffalo, the night was emceed by Sarah Silverman, with some help from event hosts Edward Norton, Drew Barrymore, Rashida Jones, Fisher Stevens, President and CEO of the Turtle Conservancy Eric Goode and Chairman of Global Wildlife Conservation Brian Sheth.


 Guests included Robert F. Kennedy Jr. & Cheryl Hines, Naomi Watts, Owen Wilson, Jill Kargman, Harvey Keitel, Famke Janssen, Matt Dillon, Gina Gershon, Karen Allen, Julian Sands, Jessica Joffe, Jenna Lyons & Courtney Crangi, Drena De Niro, Tom McCarthy, Doug Liman, Dustin Yellin, Jake Paltrow & Taryn Simon, Walton Ford, Nate Lowman, Will Cotton, Arden Wohl, Sante D’Orazio, Bob Gruen, Chloe Wise, Tony Shafrazi, Tom Freston and David Tisch


The Turtle Conservancy empowers local communities to protect their land worldwide. In diverse locations like Hong Kong, Indonesia, Madagascar, Mexico, Myanmar, South America and the United States, the Conservancy does the hard work of supporting clean water, indigenous people, and education. Last night’s event helped raise $365,000.
