They say you should dress for the job you want, not the job you have. And, who doesn’t want to be a boss?

Hugo Boss, the German-based men’s luxury wear label, held its runway show at Skylight Modern on January 31. Everyone had a front row seat, because, after all #ThisIsBoss.

The fall/winter collection was designed for the global traveler. This season, the brand brought back the 80s and 90s. Wider silhouettes, considered the starting point of Boss menswear, were mixed with slimmer, modern cuts.

The real winner of this collection though was the outerwear. Pea coats and duffles were cut from heavyweight clothes and included features like buckled straps, chunk fastenings, and other hardware reflecting nautical equipment.

Standout members of the crowd included actor Miles Teller, actor Zachary Quinto, model Lucky Blue Smith, fashion blogger Marcel Floruss, actor Edgar Ramirez, model Miles McMillan and blogger Matthew Zorpas.

Immediately after the runway show, the brand had an army of model-waiters ready with trays of champagne for their guests to kick off their cocktail hour.

Time to party like a boss.
