Liza Voloshin

It Girl:

Liza Voloshin caught our eye at the Clicquot in the Snow at the Standard Biergarten party last Tuesday, Jan. 20. Her out fit was on-point, winter-chic and festively nodded to the host, Veuve Clicquot with her Veuve-orange accents. Beyond looking fantastic and attending cool parties, Liza is part of CONVERSATIONS, an NYC, female art collective, along with Cleo Wade, Kate Greer, Margot and Mia Moretti. So yeah, we’d say that she and her gal pals are ones to watch. Photo via

Parachute bedding

On the Home Front:

With the frigid weather outside, we definitely think it’s a good time to turn your bed into a cloud of comfort. That’s why we are loving Parachute, an L.A.-based, Italian-produced bedding company that focuses on making chic, minimalist pieces with maximum coziness.

Comme des Garçons' spring showcase at DSM

Shopping List:

If you haven’t yet gone to check out the already uber-chic Dover Street Market’s new year revamp, we formally suggest you do. DSM CEO Adrian Joffe told WWD that they spent $120,000 freshening the market’s look. Updates include permanent shops for Miu Miu and Idea Books; plus face-lifted Prada and Comme des Garçons spaces, tooled to showcase their spring collections.  Photo via WWD

The Girl on the Train

Culture Notes:

The Imitation Game will be clearing from theaters in the next week and will not be out onDemand before the Oscars, so make sure to see the Globe-winning film soon! The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins, released on January 13, is officially a New York Times best seller, a most popular on Amazon and our answer to a thriller (or should we say, “chiller”) to rival Gone Girl.
