We’re only two weeks into January, but last night just might have marked the party of the year, and  DEFINITELY the wedding of the year!  After much anticipation (and social media buzz) puppy do-gooders and Instagram stars Toast Meets World and Finn Hearst (Friends of Finn); dogs of The Fat Jew and wife Katie Sturino, and Amanda Hearst, respectively, tied the knot in a perfectly ridiculous ceremony, all in the name of raising anti-puppy mill funds (Learn more at; and donate to the cause on the canine couple’s Zola registry here) The only-in-New-York moment was, ever-appropriately, ordained by Cindy Adams (who was introduced as a “living legend” and commentated that label “just means old”).

The wedding, which was the marketing master plan of wedding registry company Zola, was tripped out in cascading ivy and flower, lit with enchanted fairy-tale-esque blue lighting, and sloshed up with all kinds of vodka-based cocktails. The who’s who of editors, housewives, and perennial party goers took their martinis and found their places in the Highline Hotel’s ballroom, as Finn, the chiweenie (that’s a chihuahua/dachshund mix) groom in a little tux was escorted down the aisle by Randy Harris. Funny man and Barneys creative ambassador Simon Doonan escorted the cavalier king charles spaniel bride, Toast, in custom Marchesa and a Vera Wang leash, down the aisle, pausing every few feet for optimal snapshots and laughing the whole time.

Other guests included former NYC first daughter and animal activist Georgina Bloomberg, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley, Carole Radziwill (whose dog, Baby was a bridesmaid); Bo Mulder, Lindsay Ellingson, Julia Marracino, Alessandra Balazs, Grace Yoon, Julie Fischman, Adam Kenworthy, Tekla Back, George Wells, Kipton Kronkite, Engel de Castro and many more.
