Tony Ingrao Hosts a Preview of Baccarat Hotel & Residences

On Tuesday, February 24, 2015, world-renowned interior designer Tony Ingrao hosted an intimate preview of Baccarat Hotel & Residences New York. The crowd, which included New York City’s top design industry moguls, captains of industry, socialites and real estate brokers, mingled around the building’s 47th floor residence. The full-floor, 4,550 square foot home features 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 14’ ceilings and sweeping, 360-degree views of New York City landmarks including the Empire State Building, 1 World Trade Center and Chrysler Building, George Washington Bridge and Central Park thanks to the residence’s floor-to-ceiling windows.

At the event Ingrao, a long-time admirer of the Baccarat brand and a self-proclaimed Francophile, shared his passion for the project along with details behind the inspiration for the interiors. Starwood Capital Group’s Barry Sternlicht and Tribeca Associates’ Mark Gordon thanked Ingrao for his work on the residences and dedication to the project.

Guests mingled around dazzling floral arrangements held in a variety of stunning Baccarat vases, all elegantly illuminated by signature Baccarat lighting pieces. And they sipped champagne a signature Lillet cocktail and Chateau d’Esclans Garrus Rosé in brilliantly crafted Baccarat crystal glassware and savored small gourmet bites catered by Feasts & Fetes.

The Baccarat Hotel and Residences, features 114 guest rooms designed by Gilles et Boissier and 60 private residences designed by Ingrao, which are open now with over 70% sold and closings underway. These residences range from one- to four- bedrooms, including four full-floor units and a five-bedroom penthouse duplex with an outdoor loggia, prices ranging between $5.15 million to $60 million. Residents will be offered the highest level of service and luxury amenities, including 24-hour concierge service and priority reservations at the hotel’s world-class bar and restaurant led by Chef Shea Gallante, formerly of Cru and Ciano, and managed by Charles Masson Jr., formerly of La Grenouille. Owners will also have have a private in-residence dining option provided by the hotel’s restaurant, as well as access to the hotel’s full-service, 10,000-square-foot La Mer spa, complete with a 55-foot pool.
