5 Minutes With Charlotte Olympia

Founder and designer of her own much-loved shoe and accessory brand, Charlotte Olympia Dellal chats with us about her personal style, favorite things, and the special shoe she designed just for New Yorkers.

What made you want to sell a shoe exclusively in the NYC store?

The Liberty T-bar sandal was made especially for my Madison Avenue store. It’s the perfect New York City memento.

What are some of your favorite NYC discoveries?

Geminola, a charming store that sells vintage clothing. I love staying at the Crosby Street Hotel. It’s British, so it feels like I’m home.

What’s been your greatest creation so far?

I love my Pandora clutch box. It’s a transparent Perspex bag that goes with anything and everything!

What’s one key wardrobe piece every woman should own?

A pair of fabulous red shoes; like red lipstick, they brighten up any outfit!

BOND NO. 9

Already a staple on the luxury fragrance scene, Bond No. 9 is releasing a brand-new signature scent just in time for autumn. Dubbed “B9,” the capstone fragrance is commemorative of the brand’s original Bond Street location where it all began. Eclectic, seductive, and completely unforgettable, the all-new fragrance is the definition of a head-turner, the perfect signature top-off for a chic fall outfit.

Love + Sage

All-natural is all the rage these days, something that Sage Lehman knows very well. Her Brooklyn-based natural skincare company, Love + Sage, is a hit in the city’s chicest beauty boutiques thanks to her plant-based lip balms that are really turning heads. Sage has been hand-making her signature organic lip balms for 15 years, but decided to turn the hobby into a full-blown enterprise just recently. Boasting a delicate but effective blend of shea butter, beeswax and coconut oil, the balms are available in two universally flattering shades and scents—pucker up!

Shi Cashmere

Offering the ultimate in luxury knitwear,

Shi Cashmere’s new line of extra-touchable garments and wraps arrive just in time for the cool fall air sweeping through the city this month. Already noted for their made-to-order garments, the ever-popular retailer is stepping up their customization game with a new monogramming service offered exclusively at their Madison Avenue boutique. Arriving just in time for fall’s long, cool nights, the service is the ultimate way to make your mark in style.
