5 Minutes With Charlotte Olympia


Founder and designer of her own much-loved shoe and accessory brand, Charlotte Olympia Dellal chats with us about her personal style, favorite things, and the special shoe she designed just for New Yorkers.


What made you want to sell a shoe exclusively in the NYC store?


The Liberty T-bar sandal was made especially for my Madison Avenue store. It’s the perfect New York City memento.


What are some of your favorite NYC discoveries?


Geminola, a charming store that sells vintage clothing. I love staying at the Crosby Street Hotel. It’s British, so it feels like I’m home.


What’s been your greatest creation so far?


I love my Pandora clutch box. It’s a transparent Perspex bag that goes with anything and everything!


What’s one key wardrobe piece every woman should own?


A pair of fabulous red shoes; like red lipstick, they brighten up any outfit!
