UJA-Federation of New York hosted its 10th annual Generosity Signature Event on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Gotham Hall in New York City. The event brought together young Jewish philanthropists in their 20s and 30s for an evening of music spun by D.J. Nick Cohen, mingling, and fundraising. The event sold nearly 700 tickets.

The Generosity Leadership Board is chaired by Jackie Friedman Brogadir and Kyle Koeppel Mann, and is vice chaired by Jonathan Jesselson and Tammy Schlosberg. Harry Kastenbaum, Cassandra Siegel, and Johnny Sirulnick chaired the Generosity event.

UJA-Federation’s Generosity division is a community of New York’s socially conscious young professionals in their 20s and 30s. Through exclusive events, programs, and trips, Generosity inspires future philanthropists who will create positive, meaningful, and lasting changes in the lives of those most in need.

The Generosity Leadership is a smaller division of the UJA-Federation, which in its more than 95 years, has inspired New Yorkers to act on their values and invest in our community for the biggest impact. Through UJA-Federation, more than 50,000 donors address issues that matter most to them, pooling their resources to care for New Yorkers of all backgrounds and Jews everywhere, to connect people to their Jewish communities, and to respond to crises close to home and around the globe. Working with nearly 100 beneficiary agencies, synagogues, and other Jewish organizations, UJA-Federation is the world’s largest local philanthropy, reaching 4.5 million people each year in more than 70 countries.

Amongst those showing their support last night were Michelle Waranch Ben-Aviv, Matan Ben-Aviv, Dana Weintraub, Pamela Wohl, Abby Levin Brody, Johnny Sirulnick, Cassandra Siegel, Harry Kastenbaum, Tammy Schlosberg, Josh Friedman, Erica Friedman, Jackie Friedman Brogadir, Ben Brogadir, Jenny Friedman, Jaime Gage, Max Koeppel, Melanie Eisman, Zachary Price, Peter Stern, Kyle Koeppel Mann, Jonathan Jesselson, Erica Simon, Lisa Silverman, Andrew Silverman, Stuart Tishman, Josh Goldsmith, Lee Brodsky, Blake Friedman and Aaron Zises.
