UJA-Federation Of NY Hosts Annual Generosity Signature Event

Tuesday, February 9, 2016

UJA-Federation of New York hosted its annual Generosity Signature Event on February 4 in New York City. This year’s event hosted at Capitale brought together more than 600 socially minded young leaders who gathered to celebrate UJA-Federation’s meaningful successes for the Jewish communities and to toast to the young donors.

For nearly 100 years, UJA-Federation has been a central force for communal planning and philanthropy in the New York Jewish community and with the help of more than 55,000 generous donors they inspire a passion for Jewish learning and culture.

Working with nearly 100 beneficiary agencies and organizations, their Generosity division is a community of New York’s socially conscious young philanthropists in their 20s and 30s who gather to celebrate the world’s largest local philanthropy that reaches more than 70 other countries around the world, touching 4.5 million people each year.

The Generosity Leadership Board is chaired by Jackie Friedman Brogadir and vice chaired by Jonathan Jesselson. The event was chaired by Harry Kastenbaum, and Tammy Schlosberg, Jenny Friedman, Miron Nissim, and Sam Schear.

The attendees were entertained by D.J. Sam French and were treated to signature cocktails and delicious culinary tastings. As the evening progressed, guests continued the celebration by dancing and raffles participation.
