What’s black and white and glam all over? Well last night it was V Magazine’s Black and White Ball at The Standard Hotel’s Boom Boom Room, celebrating the 73rd issue of the publication. Fashion purveyors and New York’s coolest party people flocked to the party in their Wednesday best, the gents donning their very best black and white and ladies strutting in cover honoree Elizabeth Taylor-inspired evening-wear.

Models Lindsey Wixson and Karlie Kloss got playful with everyone’s favorite society kid Derek Blasberg while fashion phenoms Nicola Formichetti, Olivier Theyskens, Prabal Gurung and Alex Wang played a little bump and grind with guest editor Carine Roitfeld and her stylish offspring Julia and Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld
The evening was a pop-culture extravaganza what with headline grabbing folk like "wonder boy" model Andrej Pejic mingling with photographer of the moment Ryan McGinley, a performance by It-Kid Sky Ferreira, a run-in between Rachel Zoe and former employee Brad Goerski and an appearance by tabloid queen Lindsey Lohan (who seems to be sticking to her Donatella Versace-inspired look). It’s a good thing Boom Boom Room opened in time for fashion week, because there’s nothing quite like dancing the night away at the top of the world.
