Veronica Beard: Fall 2014 Fashion Presentation-turned-Party

Thursday, February 6, 2014

Veronica Beard hosted a lively showcase of its fall 2014 line yesterday at Manhattan’s chic High Line Hotel.

The exclusive event featured the musical stylings of DJ Chelsea Leyland, whose skillful song shuffling kept the night alive, as a bevy of beauties stood on life-sized pedestals to display the brand’s newest collection of wearable works of art, inspired by “the ultimate California girl.”

Notable guests include W’s fashion market and accessories director, Karla Martinez de Salas; journalist Alina Cho; fashion director and senior VP of Neiman Marcus,¬†Ken Downing; designer Stan Herman; and fashion news director of Vogue US, Mark Holgate.

The fairly new fashion house has gained tremendous momentum ever since sisters-in-law Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard launched the eponymous brand in the fall of 2010. The brand is widely known for its innovative, iconic jacket, which features interchangeable dickeys, as well as its highly versatile ready-to-wear pieces.
