Born and raised in Paris, France, Vladamir Roitfeld is the son of former Paris Vogue editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld and Christian Restoin of the now defunct Equipment clothing line. Living in the cultural epicenter of the world, surrounded by some of the great works in art, film and fashion, Vladamir and his sister Julia were immersed in the arts from a young age. After moving to New York City at 17 to study English, Roitfeld attended the University of Southern California, obtaining an impressive collection of degrees in Cinema and Television, International Relations and Business. Dipping his toe in the world of cinema after his graduation, Vladamir briefly worked as an assistant to a producer at Paramount Pictures before working as a talent agent with Anonymous Content. It was there that Roitfeld was able to realize his passion for working with emerging artists, and changed his focus to the burgeoning art-scene in New York City. 2008 saw the launch of his own private art dealership, Feedback Ltd, where he and his team primarily work with up and comers to promote and produce shows and give them a platform to sell their art. It certainly helps that his social circle happens to run the New York night scene, with the likes of Mary-Kate Olsen and ex-girlfriend Lily Donaldson in attendance at most of his shows. Suffice it to say, this handsome Frenchman with equal parts charm and perseverance has made a name for himself in Manhattan, and if he continues on this path, he might even grow past his highly covetable last name.
