Uptown was the place to be last Saturday night. Harlem Haberdashery hosted its annual Masquerade Ball benefiting the Harlem Hospital Center. Some 300 attendees trekked up to the Hospital’s Mural Pavilion for the ball, among them honorees Larry Scott Blackmon, Todd Stevens, Dominique Jones and Alison Desir. Guests wore elaborate masks—this was a masquerade after all!—and danced to performances by DJ Olivia Dope and The Rakiem Walker Project. Food and drink was provided by local Harlem businesses, among them Harlem Brew, Harlem Shake, LoLo’s Seafood Shack and Papi Wines. Other notables present included Radio 103.9fm personality MC La Loca, Musa Jackson, Mica Hughes.
