Imitation of Christ designer Tara Subkoff put on quite a show yesterday, presenting her latest collection to an exclusive audience at the W Union Square W Hotel. The nuptially-themed production showcased a lot of lace and featured groom, bridesmaids and Lydia Hearst as the bride, all decked out in head to toe Imitation-there was even a real priest standing at a make-shift archway at the end of the runway. The presentation sent rumors swirling through the Twitter-verse that perhaps the staged nuptials weren’t quite so…staged.

Subkoff certainly knows how to draw a crowd, with guests like Jenne Lombardo, photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, DJ Mia Morretti and rapper Theophilus London adorning the front row. It was a site to see and a show not to be missed. You know what they say–you gotta ring them bells!
