Ben & Jerry’s New Creations Launch Party


With the Super Bowl on Sunday, most Americans will opt to skip out on work on Monday. Buck the trend and skip work on Tuesday instead to head be one of the first to try an entirely new product line from Ben & Jerry’s. The popular ice cream dup will be serving scoops all day at the Winter Garden at Brookfield Place.

Empire State Building Run Up


The Empire State Building observatory is on the 86th floor, accessible via a 1 minute elevator ride—or 1,576 steps. On Wednesday, the world’s fastest stair climbers will race to the top in the 41st annual Empire State Building Run Up. The men’s record is 9:33; 11:23 for the women.

2018 The Orchid Dinner


The groundhog says that we’re still pretty far from spring, but New Yorkers can immerse themselves in flowers right now at the New York Botanical Garden’s annual Orchid Dinner. The event will be the stage for a magnificent showcase of orchid centerpieces created by the world’s leading fashion, interior, landscape and floral designers. During the cocktail hour, guests can purchase exceptional and rare orchids. All proceeds underwrite the development of the Garden’s orchid research collection.
