Whitney Hosts Annual Art Party

Art lovers descended on the Whitney last night for the museum’s annual Art Party. Cochaired by Zosia Mamet, Natasha Poly, Laura Kim, Fernando Garcia, Michael Carl and Micaela Erlanger, the evening featured a DJ set by the Misshapes, and some of the best-known names in the art world.

Since 1930, The Whitney Museum of American Art has been acclaimed as one of the finest art museums in the United States, renowned for its collection of American art from the 20th and 21st centuries. Last night’s event featured access to the museum’s new exhibitions; Laura Owens, Jimmie Durham: At the Center of the World, Toyin Ojih Odutola: To Wander Determined, An Incomplete History of Protest and Where We Are.

The evening also featured a special pre-party gala for select guests, hosted by Ashley Graham and the artist Raúl de Nieves, featuring a performance from the musician Young Paris.
