Thursday marked UJA-Federation of New York’s annual Generosity Signature Event. The Generosity Division of the Federation, chaired by Lee Brodsky and Kyle Koeppel and vice-chaired by Jackie Friedman, inspires and engages New Yorkers in their 20s and 30s to get involved in the community and commit to helping those in need.

The signature event was held at Ajna Bar in the Meatpacking District. Seven hundred young philanthropists came together for the event, raising over $200,000. In a fantastic demonstration of how technology can be incorporated to further engage people, $80,000 of that sum came from donations made via a text-to-pledge push during the event.
