To celebrate the upcoming American Heart Association (AHA) 21st annual Hamptons Heart Ball on June 10, Jean Shafiroff and husband Martin Shafiroff hosted a cocktail party in their uptown home. More than 100 guests came to support the non-profit organization’s mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

Among the crowd were Geoffrey Bradfield, Barbara Poliwoda, Sharon Bush, Ava Roosevelt, Matt Rich, Margo Langenberg, Tas and Amir Dossal, Maggie Norris, Chiu-Ti Jensen, Lucia Hwong Gordon, Victor de Souza, Catherine Sabino, Natalie Ross, and Ray Bouderau.

Shafiroff, a co-chair of the AHA Hamptons Heart Ball and former honoree of the event, expressed her gratitude for the organization’s life-changing work. As is her wont, she wore two different outfits during the evening: first a light pink dress, than a deep red one.

The honorees at the event, to take place at the Southampton Arts Center, will be Dr. Lori Mosca and Dr. Ralph Mosca. The Village of Southampton will also be recognized as a Heartsafe community, offering CPR training and public access to automated external defibrillators (portable devices to treat sudden cardiac arrest).

That 70’s Band are set to perform during the event, a seated dinner with both s a live and silent autcion. Following, a “Crash the Ball After Party” will be held into the midnight hour. Last year, the AHA Heart Ball raised more than $71 million to fund the organization’s research and prevention programs across the country. Betting is open on how many times will Shafiroff change clothes.
